After announcing that boomer shooter Prodeus would be coming to Nintendo Switch this week, Humble Games and Bounding Box Software have now delayed the release.

In an update posted on social media, it explained how the team encountered a “rather bumpy visual glitch in the home field.” As a result of wanting all players to have the “best possible experience”, the team has made the difficult decision to delay this version of the game “for a bit”.

A new date will be announced in the near future. Here’s the message in full (via Twitter):

When it arrives, players can expect an old-school FPS featuring a hand-crafted campaign by industry FPS veterans, co-op, competitive multiplayer, a built-in community map browser, and a level editor. Learn more in our original post.

We’ll let you know when we hear of a new release date. Are you looking forward to this? Comment below.
